A Video Interview

I do not normally discuss commercial type websites on this blog, but today, I’ll mention CriminalJusticePrograms.com, and not just because it recently posted a video “Interview with Robert Mongue:”

CriminalJusticePrograms.com recently spoke with Robert E. Mongue, an assistant professor in the legal studies department at the University of Mississippi and a published author. Robert E. Mongue specializes in paralegal research and runs TheEmpoweredParalegal.com, a blog that has spawned a series of books including: “The Empowered Paralegal: Effective, Efficient and Professional,” “The Empowered Paralegal: Working with the Elder Client,” and more.

The website does have a useful state-by-state listing of schools offering paralegal degrees and other useful information.

The transcript of the interview should be posted in a few days. If I had been more familiar with the process I would have arranged for better lighting, background, framing, etc., which were all done on my end, not the website’s.  I’m old, but I do learn new tricks, so the next one will be better.

A final note: The first book spawned the website, rather than the other way around!
